QR Loyalty IDs
Account & Checkout Experience
Connecting Pro and DIY purchases to accounts with a simple scan. Designed end-to-end UX flows that reduced checkout friction and laid the foundation for Lowe's loyalty program.
The friction was real
Customers struggled to link purchases to their accounts at checkout. Pro customers often didn't know their account numbers or carry loyalty cards, while DIY customers faced the same issue with MyLowe's accounts.
I was brought into a special project to quickly design a solution: a scannable QR code that would instantly connect purchases to accounts. Starting with Pro customers and expanding to DIY, this feature would also set the stage for Lowe's upcoming loyalty program launch.
The challenge was creating an intuitive experience that worked seamlessly across different customer types while preparing the infrastructure for future loyalty features.
