Lowe's had no centralized system for events

Marketing teams, developers, and store associates relied on ad-hoc processes, making event creation and customer registration inconsistent and hard to scale.

The business needed a unified platform to bring event planning, customer registration, and associate tools together in one place.

Designing for two very different audiences

Associates required streamlined tools for event creation and attendee check-in.

Zebra mobile devices added unique hardware constraints for check-in flows.

As the first platform of its kind at Lowe's, Pulse required defining patterns and standards from scratch.

Designing Lowe's first event management platform, end to end

As the sole product designer, I partnered with a product manager, marketing stakeholders, and developers to define what an enterprise events platform should look and feel like for Lowe's.

I created the overall look, feel, and user experience for both internal Lowe's associates and external customers. Delivered complete wireframes for all pages and interactions, including event creation, customer registration, and associate check-in flows. Built templates for different event types, including live, hybrid, and on-demand. Designed customer flows for signing up, managing registrations, revisiting past events, and accessing shared content or recordings. Designed mobile-friendly flows for customers and Zebra device wireframes for associates checking in attendees in-store.
